Allah created everything found on the Earth for you; among the Milky Way there is a bright yellow star around which orbit eight planets. On one of these eight planets lives a species that has recently gained the power of perception to see the wonders of the universe: this species is human being; in the past, the solar system did not have such an orderly shape; probably six billion years ago this planet came to existence  

 after the collision of some giant meteors; the glowing sphere is the Planet Earth; Amir al Momenin (greeting) in his 90^th Speech, Nahjolbalaghah, talks about the initiation/creation of the Planet Earth while in molten state: a molten state of the Planet Earth which is a reminiscence of  the big explosion, when the giant waves were whirling and repelled one another and slapped one another, foams turned into cream, like the foam round the mouths of excited male animals; after roaring and hollering they became calm, quiet and turned cool; when stopped roaring, they became stationary after exhaustion and weakening blows; now they balanced their multiple movements by weight of heavy stones; opened up the space between ‘jav’/atmosphere or space or air and prepared air for the breathing of future inhabitants; created clouds to give life to the dead lands and created plants; until patches of rain bearing clouds, due to collision of the pregnant clouds sparkled lightening in the clouds; out of the chilled patches of the land and the bare rocky mounts, grew plants; then the Planet Earth turned green because of vegetation; well decorated pastures; As of the formation of the rock crust and the availability of food for all creatures the universe has undergone four phases. Allah placed rocks and the mountains, and blessed them, and prepared foodstuffs, in four days/epochs. Western scientists have estimated the life of the Earth in four eras as of the appearance of soil and sediment to present time; if stone crust added to this, then we’ll have five eras; however, Koran considers the beginning of life as of appearance of water on the Planet Earth; Koran encourages people to study creation and says: how the skies, the earth, days and nights were created; and the movement of the ships in the sea for the benefit of the people and the precipitation, water, when there was no life on the Earth and creation of life and the development of life, movement of the winds; their hanging between the Earth and the sky are all signs; Allah encourages people to think about the Planet Earth; encourages them to travel in various direction, the depth of soil and study about creation; Allah says tell them to travel to see how creation began and how it returns.
